Free listings for drivers willing to take passengers,

and those needing transportation
between towns and cities in Saskatchewan.

With the provincial government having shut down STC bus service, this website is intended to help those who relied on provincial bus service to get to medical appointments, visit friends and family, do their shopping, or travel out-of-town for any other reason.

This is a non-commercial website. We do not charge for listings, nor do we send you annoying emails to try to sell you something. We do not keep your listing or email address on file other than for the time required to contact you if necessary, nor do we sell it to anyone else.

Like many rural Saskatchewan residents, we have used STC for years, for medical appointments and to travel to airports. We understand that for many in rural areas, especially seniors and people with medical needs, there are few options.

We hope that this site will be of help in getting drivers and riders together.

There are some basic rules and suggestions for using this site. Please read them carefully:

  • The only purpose of this website is to bring together drivers, and those who need a ride to an out-of-town destination.
  • We cannot guarantee that you will find either a driver or a rider, but we can provide you with the opportunity to find either;
  • We do not get involved in making arrangements between drivers and riders; that is left to the two parties;
  • You will have to provide an email address or phone number with your listing so interested persons can contact you;
  • If you know in advance that you will need a ride, or are prepared to take a passenger, the earlier you provide your listing, the higher the chances of success; listings must be submitted at least four days prior to the date of travel;
  • We do not assume any responsibility, liability or other legal responsibility for any interaction between people who provide listings;
  • Please use caution when contacting others, or making arrangements for a ride. We strongly suggest you read the information about personal safety at right.
  • The listing will be removed following the date of travel. If you make satisfactory arrangements earlier, please advise us so we can remove the listing and spare you getting unnecessary calls or emails.

If you find that a listing misrepresents the intent of this website, or that you had a bad experience dealing with someone who listed here, please provide us with the details so we can remove the listing. This service is built on the good intentions of drivers and riders; anything that violates that will not be tolerated.

take care and ensure your personal safety

We expect SaskRideShare users to be well-intentioned and trustworthy.

Nevertheless, please use common sense precautions online and offline when arranging a ride.

When discussing a rideshare with someone for the first time, and when offering or accepting a ride, please remember to:

  • Insist on a public meeting first, in a place like a restaurant, bank, or shopping centre;
  • Do not meet in a secluded place, or invite strangers into your home or vehicle;
  • Tell a friend or family member where you're going, and with who;
  • Provide a friend or family with the name and license plate number of the person you're travelling with;
  • If you are the driver, similarly tell a friend or family member who you're giving a ride to;
  • Take your cell phone along if you have one;
  • Consider having a friend accompany you;
  • Trust your instincts.

Taking these simple precautions helps make SaskRideShare safer for everyone.
